ROS: A Game-Changer for Agriculture

JC-9465 is a new proprietary advanced chemistry that generates ROS (reactive oxygen species) through mineral oxychloride compounds, engineered to improve profits and safety across the agriculture industry. It is effective against 99.9999% of bacteria and viruses and can kill microorganisms in less than 10 seconds.

The science of reactive oxygen species

Mineral oxychloride chemistry generates oxidative energy related to reactive oxygen species (ROS), producing a high concentration of hydroxyl radical ions and singlet oxygen ions. This oxidative energy can be measured in millivolts using an ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) meter.

JC-9465 achieves a 6-log pathogen reduction, compared with the industry standard 3-log reduction, in under 10 seconds at an ORP greater than 700 mV. The World Health Organization recommends that water is safe at an ORP greater than +750 mV.

Measured as electrochemical potential, JC-9465 has a higher oxidative energy than conventional oxidants:

  • Sodium hypochlorite: 0.94 Ev

Documented agricultural applications

Citrus greening (Florida)

Treatment of huanglongbing (HLB) infected trees with a +700 mV solution showed marketable fruit development within 60 days across the test group.

Xylella fastidiosa (European olives)

Early results show leaf recovery and disease control through biofilm destruction via fogging and root irrigation.

Produce washing

UC Davis and independent research confirm E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria reduction on produce such as avocados and apples, with shelf life improvements of up to 2X.
